The more you talk about it, debate it, rethink it, rehash it, cross-analyze it, get paranoid about it, track it, respond to it, contend with it, complain about it, immortalize it, cry over it, kick it, insult it, gossip about it, put it down or dissect its motives… it continues to fester & rot in your mind.
If you hadn't fallen down, you would never have learned how to get back on your feet. If you hadn't been forced to let go & move on, you'd never have learned that you have the strength to stand on your own. If you hadn't lost hope, you would never have found your faith.
It's time to accept that it's over. It's dead. It's gone. It's done. It's time to bury it 'coz it's stinking up your life, & no one wants to be near your rotted corpse of bad memories, or your decaying attitude. Be the funeral director of your past life & bury that thing once & for all.
The best often comes after the worst happens. You can either move on, or you can dwell on the things you can’t change. Either way life does move on with or without you.
Be a defender of honesty & truth so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Forget the mistakes of the past & press on to the achievements & lessons of today. Give so much time to your own self-improvement that you have no time to criticize others. Look at the sunny side of everything & make your optimism part of your religion. Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is you.
Holding on is being brave, but letting go & moving on is often what makes us stronger & happier in the end. So learn from the past & then get the heck out of there. And, give yourself this gift so you can grow & smile again.
