Hi Minna-san! Welcome to my blog. (: [well, at least for me.]
(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))
seeing this today as a personal blog I've ever done. PLEASE go easy on me. ☻
I will talk about being a beginner which is a fitting topic for me because [heck!] Imma beginner myself. [What a better topic to start with, ya?]
This covers the subject of trying new things in life & accepting d idea of being a beginner instead of placing a typical of perfection on ourselves. Probably the reason why is ultimately we've already set expectations that may keep us from fiddling with life & start exploring pathways.
When it comes to beginning new things, we have to ask ourselves, it is not just what do we want, but,
what are we willing to work at,
what problems are we willing to give ourselves,
what challenges are willing to offer ourselves to urge the things that we want.
Sometimes, we're so afraid of not being perfect, we're so afraid of other people may be seeing d imperfections that we don't ever try to take the risk to step outside of our comfort zones.
AND HERE'S THE THING, once you live a life that way, you'll end up living very small.
[I don't think any of us down to our core wanting to live small. lol]
we all want to measure,
we want savage life,
we want big lives,
we want to be contented in life,
we want to be fearless &
we wanna go after the things that make us feels so passionate about it.
Accepting d idea of being a beginner takes all of the pressure off of ourselves & all the pressure off of whatever it is that you've got ever wanted to try, it is just puts the fun back into it because when you already have d expectation of not completely mastering it right away & you get to laugh at yourself.
Look at your life as an experiment rather than looking at it as a masterpiece or something that has to be perfect. When you find that sense of playfulness as if you were a kid or you are an experiment to yourself, you get so much fun with it & interesting & almost you're gathering information instead of trying to be an expert. You have to be careful too, not comparing your first days with somebody's years because that would be the fastest way to feel all of that fun & energy to zap off from whatever we interested in. If you compare your beginning stages whose been doing it so long time, instead, you can just gather inspiration & motivation but then bring it on back & check into where you're at & accept where you are at so that you can go into it fully intent & fully able to experiment new things along the way.
All the great masters, all of the people that inspire us most, even the people that we look up to, are doing the thing that we haven't even tried, they stared as a beginner at one point, too. Even the people who have become experts at whatever it is that they're just so drawn to, at some point or another, they had to start somewhere as well, they started right where you are & along the way they put in work & they put an effort & they practice & they put their energy & their intention into something for a long period, those are people that have tried & failed, & tried & failed.
So ultimately, instead of holding yourself against where they're at you may take a look at it as a chance to spark to that interest & spark that inspiration to start out now because if you start now, then hundred days from now, you are on that day rather than still being on your day one because you kept finding excuses not to start. And we do that to ourselves a lot, we tell ourselves that, this is who we are & we put ourselves in this boxes & we're saying that, this identifies who I am & once we hold too tightly on to those things, we create these barriers around our life that keep us from branching out trying new things & almost expanding our souls & grasping more of who we could be rather than who we believe we should be or who we already think that we are.
You can completely change your life however many times you want.
Look at it as an opportunity, grow into something more instead of getting stressed out about the fact that you didn't know-how. We know it can be uncomfortable getting outside of our comfort zones because we suddenly lack that confidence of the things that we no know about, we're in d unknown, we're in the territory that's uncharted to us & we don't know what d outcome will be, we've become so at home with to attached to d idea of knowing our outcomes because then we feel safe & suddenly we're in a new area, we have no idea what to expect & sometimes that may scare us into playing small, that can scare us into not stepping outside of who we already are & what we already know rather than to learn something new.
And so while it can be a little nerve-wracking to step outside of your temperature, but each time you do it, it gets easier & you've got more of that enthusiasm for life & that zest to simply get out there without any care of how stupid you might look or any care of d outcome because ultimately, every second that passes by, you just don't want to take that for granted, you want to expand your knowledge & you wanna expand your life & the things that your able to do & the stories your able to tell & you can't do that from inside your comfort zone & you also can't do that if you're doubting yourself every second along the way because if you even come into anything thinking I'm gonna fail or I'm gonna suck, then,
1; you're asking for that outcome already before you've even given it a chance,
but,
2; obviously you're not gonna wanna do it.
Odds are, [yass] you've might fail, you might not be that great, but, THAT'S OKAY & there's also a decent chance that you might find something that you're already pretty good at, otherwise, you have a knack for & you wouldn't have known that if you just listen to your self-doubt & not giving yourself to undertake. That little part of doubt is almost tied heavily to our comfort zones because it wants to stay us safe. Instead of hating that little doubtful inside your head saying that you're gonna suck or that you'll fail, or that's embarrassing, or you feel there's a part inside of you that just wants to keep you safe then you can see it from what it is to be afraid but that's okay & you know you're gonna still trying to do this anyway & even if it ends up embarrassing & ends up being a failure then you can laugh about it because you know you can do it.
If it wasn't meant for you, you wouldn't feel drawn thereto [it sits back!] & telling yourself, alright, [fine] maybe you do prove it's right or prove it completely wrong but who cares because it is another story to tell & it's another lesson learned. It might be a stepping stone to discover about life or about yourself that is something you wouldn't ever found, play with life a little bit. Do just that.
Also, you have to take responsibility for the things that you want to get out of your life & you have to take responsibility for being a beginner every single day. After all, if you don't, nobody else is gonna do it for you & then if you ended up sitting around feeling sorry for yourself, because, you're not where you wanna be, d only person that, there is to blame, is yourself.
And you don't need to be, layer on thick heavy guilt for not trying, because, that lame reason for it, d excuses we give ourselves not having enough time or whatever it is, that just you, trying to keep yourself safe, it's ok that you haven't tried yet, you haven't begun yet it's not something that you have to belittle or be mean to yourself about, but at the same time you can take the second to decide that's not gonna be d excuse that you hold on to anymore & you're gonna find the time & you're gonna make it happen, if not for anything then just to realize, just to figure out if it is something that you could be into or could bring your life a little bit more happiness because if you were to take all of the time that you spent thinking about the things that you wanna do & actually use that time to work at it, consider of how far along you could already be.
Keeping that part of you alive, keeping yourself constantly willing to measure your life with an open mind to set aside some time trying out all new types of things for the first time & live a life that makes you excited to jump out of bed in the morning then you start taking the things whatever it is that sparks of curiosity that taking place all the various walks of life or doing powerful that you are fervent about, it creates so much more knowledge because you learn things every single time you push yourself outside your comfort zone or learn things that you didn't know about yourself & act on them even if it is as simple as just putting a little bit of research on something that you have no information on but you've always thought about, like traveling somewhere or writing down the goals that you want or to explore those avenues of life that are calling your name, anything.
Doing those things is showing up for yourself that you're serious that you are not ignoring these flags or signal that tells you that, this could be something that might fit in your life & you're gonna prove to yourself that you want this so bad [I WANT THIS!!!] that you didn't care [I don't care how silly it makes me look. lol] if you're not good at it right away, you're gonna do it anyway because this is something that you wanna do & you know that life is way too short to not act on those impulses.
Realistically,
there's never gonna be the right time, our lives are always busy,
there are always things to do,
there's never gonna be a time where no problems or it's gonna seem easier to start something completely unbeknown to you.
The right time is always, now. If you're not gonna do it now, then, when will you? You are only on this Earth for one fleeting moment & the grand scheme of existence & if you aren't spending this precious time jumping head first & to any & all things that interest to you & if you aren't willing to wake up, you're selling yourself. Instead, if you can anchor your focus & pull it right now into what you could do at this moment & on how you can do it, you can become so much more accomplished, you can add so much more flavor to your life, you can almost see every opportunity to grow.
Everyone sucks at initially unless you hit a stroke of pure luck & natural talent. [Honestly!] There's nobody that just like woke up & which is a master at writing books or drawing, so what if you look really clueless? don't be afraid of failing, don't be petrified of being unsure because it's there that you'll find the gems & the treasures of life.
Even the things that you've already mastered in your life, those are things that you had to try & fail at, to be where you are up today. So now gazing at the time that you have left in your life, why not begin, why not look at it as a little less seriously & have fun, maybe, you ended up liking it or it ends up changing your life, you'll never know until you jump in. So, why not give it a chance.
No matter what you think you've already mastered or what you're just starting with, there are always ways to get induce, there's always new paths, new avenues, new ways, new perspectives on how to look at things or how to do things & how to make something a little more you in this world.
At d end of the day, we should all stay beginner as long as there is life because the minute that we think we're masters at something then we're concluding that there's nothing left to learn.
[I don't think that's ever true. lol]
The learning never stops & it never ends, we always gaining new wisdom & always adding more things to our roaster of life & to our experience in life.
So, give it a go, see what happens, you'll never know, you would possibly just surprise yourself. (:
"The master is a beginner that never gave up."
